A 2010/2011 Program Review Meeting will take place on Aug. 30th. All parents are encouraged to attend. The PLC will also meet on this date.

The first Scout Meeting of the school year will take place on September 13th. Annual dues of $100 is due at this meeting as well as the permission slip and payment for the Darby Creek Fall Camporall.

Please check your inboxes and spam folders for an evite regarding the November 7th Fish & Wildlife Program offered at the zoo. Response is required no later than August 27th.

We are asking that each household register at least one adult with the troop. Registered adults are required for Board of Reviews and can vote on troop matters at Troop Committee Meetings. Each registered adult must complete the online Youth Protection Training. New registrants should include their YPT completion certificate with their registration application. With the influx of new scouts into the troop, we are going to be conducting a lot of BORs and we need your help!

We are in need of Merit Badge Counselors. All registered adults are eligible and are encouraged to sign up for as many MB's as you have expertise!

We belong to the Darby Creek District in the Simon Kenton Council.

Troop 111 earned 81 Merit Badges at Camp Friedlander in 2009 and 79 Merit Badges at Camp Berry in 2008! Great job, Scouts!

Troop 111 had the most Eagle Scouts (6) in 2007 in the Buckeye District and the second highest within the Simon Kenton Council which covers southern Ohio and northern Kentucky.
